Mahony

Why was the large red pack of Mahony taken out of the range? We have always used this for the "Toblerone chocolate mousse". Unfortunately, we now have to buy the original from the competition?

Dear Community Say goodbye to the Mahony own-brand range - as well as to the somewhat more exclusive products from Chocolat Frey: Migros is slowly doing away with itself (here too) and will soon be adding Toblerone and these dreadful Lindt products to its range. Over-sugared, wannabe premium and partly "Made in Switzerland" despite production in Aachen (Germany) and Italy. It will be interesting to see how the chocolate range is to be streamlined or made faceless. The regional cooperative princes in eastern Switzerland in particular obviously want it that way... I'm telling you, Migros is becoming more and more of a "pseudo-coop"... It's a shame that Mahony and Frey chocolate are slowly disappearing from the range; I think they're great products. Lindt and Toblerone are also good, but I found Migros' own chocolate brands to be just as good, if not slightly better...

Hello everyone, you don't have to worry about our own brands. The proportion of private labels has been very stable at around 75% for several years. We are strengthening our own brands and are constantly introducing new products. Chocolat Frey will of course continue to be available in a wide variety on our shelves. Best regards Sebastian

But why exactly those away, for which one did not want the competing product!!! like Toblerone for example

I think, however, that many city branches or branches in the mountains often had to deal with customers (abroad) who would like to have Toblerone

As long as Mahony remains in the range, I have no objection to Toblerone still being available. I think both are great.

Mahony chocolate has already disappeared from the range. It was one of the most popular Frey chocolates. There are fewer and fewer reasons to shop at Migros when the most popular unique selling point products disappear
