It seems that Migros is clearing out the cheap items and replacing them with products that cost much more. Dog food M Klassics has been quietly replaced by an expensive brand that costs 3 times more. That's typical Migros, when you run out of money you just do it. Sells more expensive products has more profit. I hope the whole thing goes down the drain
Hello charly99, it's true, we have taken the M-Classic dog food out of our range. Unfortunately, the demand for it was clearly too low. We now offer Oscar food as an alternative. However, the labels cannot be compared directly: Oscar food has a significantly higher meat content, which of course also affects the price. We continue to offer M-Budget food as another alternative. I understand your displeasure and that this means a change for the animals. According to the product manager, we deliberately offer different products with different meat contents. We are checking the information on the packaging, but I can't promise you a prompt adjustment. Those responsible are aware of the issue; it's always a balancing act between popular and poorly performing products. And as the shelves in the stores don't have unlimited space, our specialist department has to keep making new decisions and adjustments.
