M-Budget Toast dark

M-Budget Toast dunkel

Hello Unfortunately, I discovered today in a ZH branch that our family favorite toast (MBudget Toast dark) has been completely changed. It is now a completely different, new, product if you ask me. From the country of manufacture Switzerland to Germany and from compact toast to fluffy "American-style" toast. Observed: A suspiciously similar toast bread is available from competitor A. I wouldn't be surprised if it comes from the same factory as A's cream cheese, like its M-Budget equivalent. Although the quality is definitely right here. I would like to document my disappointment here for the Migros product team and perhaps there are others who prefer the "old" toast. Peter

I'm not a fan of "American style" toast either, I prefer the more compact ones. It's a shame that this product has also been made worse...

Hello PeterZone, thank you for your message. Exactly, the M-Budget dark toast has been changed and now comes from Germany. Previously, we sourced all our toast from Jowa. To minimize the risk of an out-of-stock situation, we had to switch to a third-party supplier. This means we can always provide our customers with M-Budget toast. In future, however, the "old" dark toast will be available in stores as wholemeal toast. Best regards, Noemi

Hello, I am also very disappointed that the M-Budget dark toast is no longer available in its original form. The previous dark toast was different from all the other dark toast breads and was definitely our favorite. The new product is available everywhere else and tastes nowhere near as good as its predecessor. Please bring the previous product back into the range! Kind regards U. Gohl
