Hello Polarsternchen
As an IT apprentice, I have to object to this. I think a deletion function makes sense, but not a comprehensive one like the one you are talking about.
If, for example, a product is being discussed or a new idea and many others are linked to your post because, for example, the dear community managers have replied, these posts would no longer be relevant and would therefore also be deleted. With such a deletion function, an incredible amount of content would be lost.
I think it makes sense that you can deactivate your account, that you can no longer be contacted, that your data is deleted from the server, etc., so that in the end only your user name and your posts remain. But I think deleting all activities is a bit too deep a cut into the content of Migipedia. :)
Kind regards

Correct in principle. But if you take data protection into account, things look a little different.
It's exactly the same in other forums. What is written stays there.
If it is deleted, nobody gets through.
You should just think carefully about what you write.
I noticed a case (in a completely different forum) where some things were deleted. Several users wrote bad things about others. Well, when it came to a legal dispute, the forum had to delete some things...
Which was really okay. It was probably really bad. But I only noticed it when it was already deleted.
