Delicious bread (without flour)

Leckeres Brot (ohne Mehl)

I've just been visiting friends in Germany. I bought a flour-free bread at EDEKA, which is definitely still missing from the Migros shelves!
The "wholemeal oat bread" (from Aerzener) not only tastes super delicious, but is also TOP in terms of ingredients: water, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, linseed, oat kernels, spelt malt flakes, apple cider vinegar, yellow pea meal, barley malt extract, psyllium husks, salt. The bread contains 13g fat, 22g calories and 11g protein.

And why don't you want flour? Oat kernels, spelt malt flakes are just whole grains, but why is it so bad as flour? (P.S. I would like the Edeka bread as homemade bread!) Because: You know there are a lot of problems with mandatory food inspections at the moment? There are even some regions where only 22% of the mandatory checks are carried out. There are simply too few inspectors. And that is deliberate, because many were made redundant years ago and some left, while few new ones were hired... The usual lie. We need skilled workers... Lay them off, don't train them and don't hire them over 40/45. In reality, it's the perfect reason to bring cheap labor into the country.

Of course, a gluten-free bread would be even "better". Either way, the taste of this grain version is very different to "normal bread". There are plenty of gluten-free versions. For example the "Life Changing Bread". I would take it straight away :)

As long as the Migros in-house bakery is not even capable of baking dough blanks properly or baking bread itself, they will not be able to do so either.

Hello bealein, thank you for your suggestion. We are indeed currently developing such a bread. Whether it will also be gluten-free is still unclear. So you can look forward to seeing what kind of bread we will be offering in the near future. I hope you enjoy it! Best regards, Sina

That's good news! :) Thanks for the info. Gluten-free would of course be great, especially without wheat (which is unfortunately found almost everywhere...).
