Ladycup

Hey everyone reading this :)

As a woman you know that you have to buy tampons and pads, etc. every month or the situation that you just don't have any more and have to ask someone, which is not so pleasant. :/
I was recommended the Ladycup by a friend, bought it online and tried it out. Since then I have only used this Ladycup during my period. However, I was almost shocked at how few people know about the Ladycup, as it is such a good alternative to tampons. I was also puzzled by the fact that, apart from a few pharmacies, they are not yet available in Swiss stores.

More details about the Ladycup:

As the name suggests, it looks a bit like a cup and is also called a menstrual cup in German.
->here is a picture:

They are available in different sizes, colors and designs. It may take a bit of practice at first, but once you get the hang of it, the Ladycup is just great. You don't even notice it when you wear it, just like a tampon, there is much less waste (environmentally friendly :) ) and once you have bought it (approx. CHF 45) you can use it for up to 10-15 years if you clean it well every month after your period. You can wear it like a tampon for bathing and you don't even have that annoying little string that you're always afraid will suddenly peek out of your bikini. The Ladycup also has other advantages.

I will link you to a website where you can find more information so that you can form your own opinion about the Ladycup ;)

It would be great if Migros would offer this product, because too few women know about it and for me and other friends to whom I have already recommended the Ladycup, it is the most pleasant way to get through the days. :)

Dear Raleana,

Even though I am a man, I have a pretty great impression of the Ladycups. That's why I completely agree with you!
My girlfriend has also needed a Ladycup for about 2 years and she seems pretty enthusiastic about them.
For me, they are environmentally friendly as they can be used several times and are practical.

Raleana, I think your suggestion is great!
I hope something works with the Mirgos

Ladycups or menstrual cups are also available in most drugstores, health food stores and unpackaged stores, in addition to pharmacies :-)

Hello Raleana and the community, thank you for the exciting input. I'll be happy to pass this on to the relevant specialist department and keep my fingers crossed for the Lady Cup. :-) Best regards, Zuzanna

Hello Raleana and community, your input has been taken on board and the suggestion will be checked and the trend followed up. Have a nice afternoon everyone, Zuzanna

I've also been using the ladycup for 2 1/2 years. And it's just great once you've learned how to use it. But I think the femmy cycle is even better. Many women simply give up too quickly when it's not easy to use and empty at first. But once you're used to it and have practiced, it makes life easier during your period. You can find the lady cup in some stores here. But I think it would be very good if Migros were to include them in its range so that the general public could get to know them and it would also make an important contribution to reducing waste and women's health, as synthetic pads and tampons also contain toxins.

I also think the Ladycup from ladyplanet.ch is so great!!!

Would be cool if there were sizes S and M :-))

I have been writing the article above for some time and have now been able to discover menstrual cups in the small Migros in Glarus. I find it a pity and strange that there were none to be found in a large (larger than the one in Glarus) Migros in Lucerne in the old town. When I asked the staff, I was told that they didn't have any menstrual cups. It would be nice if they offered them at several locations. Thank you for letting me know. :)

Dear Raleana, thank you for your message and your interest in our menstrual cups. I was happy to check with our specialist department. The products are generally available in the large branches (MMM). However, each cooperative can divide the stock between the individual sales outlets in order to take account of local circumstances (retirement homes, family housing estates, etc.). I was happy to clarify the availability in Lucerne for you. The people in charge told me that the items are available in Sursee and Länderpark as well as in Zugerland. I have gladly placed your request accordingly. I hope this helps you. Best wishes and have a great weekend! Tabea
