Lachspains is MSC certified, so I thought I could enjoy it with a clear conscience, until I saw that it contains PALM OIL. Palm oil is completely unnecessary here, the competitor product Le Parfait uses sunflower oil. Please change the recipe for Lachspains as soon as possible!

From the thread about palm oil, still very topical:
"If palm oil is replaced and another oil is used in its place, we are faced with the same problems. Palm oil has the highest productivity per unit area. So if palm oil were to be replaced by another oil or fat, the available land would only become even more scarce, as a much larger area would be required for the same amount of the raw material. This would further increase the pressure on the rainforest and other natural areas worthy of protection.
