I tried my beloved salmon at the competition... MULTIPLE!↵Result:↵- BONE FREE!!! (which I actually expect from EVERY fish fillet!) Unfortunately, it was only the salmon there was salmon trout full of bones... ↵Result↵- Boneless↵- good, very fresh quality, slightly longer shelf life 😳↵- also much cheaper↵↵The 3rd point annoys me, because it's clear that prices are being pushed down to lure away Migros/Coop customers. And unfortunately it's increasingly working in my area, more and more people are switching.↵↵So at least the 1st point could be tried, right? NOBODY likes bones.↵I would have paid the higher price. But now I'm drawn elsewhere when it comes to salmon 😭. It's really much better at the moment. ↵And sadly it's a temporary game, you won't be able to play it forever. Because there are a few in the upper salary brackets who expect to earn a lot, at the moment there's not a lot of earnings being pulled out.
Fresh from the deli counter.↵↵We've been buying it for years, in various stores, and it always comes with bones.↵It's never available without... 🥺 😢
Maybe buy it from the fresh food counter at the Coop and try it out? It's a fact that fish have bones; it can be really difficult to remove all the bones...

It's the same there ↵I know that fish has bones. Especially all the 😀😊🤣. Only if you go to the coast and buy fish fillets will you notice the difference.↵A different cut when filleting and it would be fine. 😎↵↵I'm reducing my visits more and more anyway 🥺. ↵Got goat's cheese yesterday, saw it at home 2nd date already expired... Normally I always look. Anyway, we had cheese bread for dinner, sometimes we don't eat it straight away ↵It's the little things. ↵Oil on sale, lunch shelf almost empty. etc...

Ok, I'm sorry it's not better at the Coop. I just rarely buy fresh fish at the counter... That's right, you're right about buying coastal fish and fish fillets there; they're worlds apart! It's the same for me, unfortunately, the longer the more the fewer visits... Oh dear, that's really stupid about the date :-( But if it wasn't soft cheese, then you can easily keep the (hard) cheese in the fridge for a few more days and don't have to eat it on the same day; hard cheese isn't as tricky as soft cheese, or rather, I've never had any problems with hard cheese, even if it's been in the fridge for longer than the best-before date. I have never had any problems with hard cheese, even if it has been in my fridge for longer than the best-before date. Incidentally, I have also noticed here in the stores where I often go shopping that there are always some products (be it cheese, yoghurt, confectionery such as cakes etc.) that are offered on the shelf at full retail price, even though the sell-by date has already expired. (However, when I look at "my" stores, I'm not surprised at all; there are practically always trainees who are supposed to check the items and reduce the price where the sell-by date expires on the same day; the only thing I keep seeing, however, is that the trainees are constantly just mucking around and slinging discounted products at each other instead of putting them back on the rack so that Migros customers can buy them; if you're just mucking around all the time and doing other "crap", then it's no wonder that expired products stay on the shelf and continue to be sold at full price; I've complained to the store manager about this several times, but it's no use, nothing has changed or improved, I practically only see apprentices mucking around...) I now always check the date of all the products I buy at Migros; I've never bought a product at Lidl/Aldi or Coop that has expired (or if I have, it was a reduced product that expired on the same day, but I bought it on purpose).

Hm was cream cheese for spreading...↵Luckily only the one and 3 with a fairly short shelf life. ↵It's just annoying because we sometimes go shopping and don't eat it the same day or the next day. ↵It lasts longer than the expiration date, but at full price it's quite old... ↵↵Exactly the solid one lasts a long time. ↵It's great for freezing 😎😉.

Yes, cream cheese doesn't keep for very long, I try to use it up relatively quickly (like the soft cheese). That's also the case with us (we often go shopping and don't consume what we've bought on the same day), and then it's even more annoying. Yes, the expiration date wouldn't be such a big problem for me either, but at full price it really sucks... That's right, hard cheese is great to freeze if you have to ;-) I didn't dare to do it for a long time until various people from my circle of colleagues/friends told me they would do it (just like freezing bread). It works great.

Speaking of which, freezing bread works great. I didn't know about the hard cheese. Thanks for the tip!

e.g. raclette cheese works really well 😀👍↵If you freeze the slices slightly offset on top of each other, you can even remove them individually with a little force 😉. ↵It looks a bit strange, but it works. I sometimes only need 1-2 slices, so it's practical. Looks like light steps...
