Artificial fructose in many Migro products - Fructose intolerance
Künstliche Fructose in vielen Migrosprodukten - Fructoseintoleranz
I am amazed that artificial fructose or glucose-fructose syrup is added to an extremely large number of Migros products. For example, artificial fructose is contained in the bear paws, in all the ice creams I looked at and in some other products.
Migros now has many products for people with lactose intolerance and also gluten-free products for people with gluten intolerance.
Unfortunately, however, fructose intolerance is not an issue at Migros.
Due to a suspected fructose intolerance, I took a closer look at this topic.
The fructose in the various Migros products actually sounds very healthy. Fructose is also found in fruit. But the fact that this fructose is produced artificially and, as I have read, it is possible that the fructose is produced from starch, e.g. corn starch, with the help of genetically modified enzymes, and that this is not even subject to declaration, astonished me greatly.
If you find out more, there are many health arguments against artificially produced fructose and glucose. Would it be possible for Migros to go one step further and remove this fructose from its products and use normal sugar instead?
Hopeful
