In my opinion, not much has happened since my last post about cosmetics prices.
Sure, Labello prices have fallen, Rexona has been reduced etc. But what strikes me is that Coop is more aggressive here.
Coop is lowering Nivea deodorant prices again, Syoss is being imported by Paralell...
What is Migros doing in the cosmetics sector? Although the euro has been at 1.10 for some time, little has changed at Migros...

Thank you for your message. Prices in the cosmetics sector have been a major issue for some time now, and not just since last year. Irrespective of the euro exchange rate, we at Migros started to continuously reduce prices in the cosmetics range back in 2011. We continued this approach last year. We will continue to work to ensure that our customers get more for their money.

Irrespective of the euro exchange rate, we at Migros started to continuously reduce prices in the cosmetics range back in 2011. We continued this approach last year. We will continue to work to ensure that our customers get more for their money.

I came across this by chance, even after 6 years there still hasn't been much movement in terms of the exorbitant Swiss prices, the euro is currently almost back at 1:1, how about further price reductions and this time please get it right.

Well... there are certainly many articles that are at 0... when I look at the food prices throughout Europe and at wages, I don't think we are so massively more expensive... CH meat may be much more expensive, but I don't think the rest is... migros is also one of the largest private label manufacturers in the world, of course you also have to subsidize the industry with it...

If you have less than 2500 gross to live on, that's a lot of people in rich Switzerland and it's getting more and more. Not only is life becoming more and more expensive, but many things are becoming more and more of a luxury as prices soar. Outdoor swimming pools have also become more expensive and you get a guilty conscience if you go, because energy is used/consumed there, not to mention the water consumption.
