Another ecological topic...
I've just been to Spain and saw toilet paper where the cardboard roll is compostable and water-soluble. This means that when the toilet paper is used up, you can simply throw it into the toilet and it will dissolve. I saw it for the first time and thought it was a really good idea.

And yet another person who is too lazy to recycle the cardboard in order to apparently protect the environment, but instead makes the sewage treatment plant work harder?

@FredericaIdon't like yourtone. I made a normal post and expect (especially from a MMM-VIP) a decent way of writing. And above all, no baseless accusations.
I doubt that you have done a study on what is really more ecologically compatible. Of course, it could be that cardboard recycling is better. But that would have to be examined in detail, with all the associated aspects (including production, etc.).
I didn't know that it had already been discussed here. So the topic is closed for me (here).

I'd rather be lazy and throw the cardboard in the toilet than do nothing at all... I think.
I wonder how many people recycle all the cardboard products, the small carton from the yogurt, the toilet rolls, the cardboard tray where the strawberries are sold, the small label on the tea bags, etc., or do they only recycle the big boxes?
I recycle every scrap of cardboard and paper (our house luxuriously has a paper container).
Unfortunately, water soluble doesn't mean you flush and the toilet paper dissolves. It takes almost forever for the toilet paper alone to begin to dissolve. This repeatedly leads to blockages. Ironically, the problem is exacerbated by water-saving toilets.
