I realize that Migipedia is not maintained at the weekend, but something like yesterday and today should not be allowed to happen.
@Migros what is being done about it?

Good morning everyone
Over the last few days, Migipedia has been the target of manually created spam posts. Individual users have found ways to circumvent our protection mechanisms - including alternative spellings of terms that have already been blocked and targeted exploitation of our openness to discussions about other traders.
It is important to us that Migipedia remains an open and constructive place for exchange. At the same time, we take abuse very seriously. That is why we are currently working intensively on improved spam protection to better prevent such incidents in the future.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Best regards
Philipp

Such activities occur mainly - and increasingly - at weekends. Logically, Migipedia is neither maintained nor moderated on these days. It would be good if this were not the case. Would it be possible to introduce at least a reduced moderation service, for example on a home office basis, who would at least check on things every two or three hours and delete such posts? He doesn't have to answer questions.
As always, I looked at the whole thing in the activity stream and would have been happy if I'd had a cross next to every post, like in the Facebook feed, for example, which I could have used to hide such posts.
Aren't posts that are reported at least three times automatically removed from visibility for users?
I wish you and your team a good week

I hardly think that (management-technically unnecessary) work assignments with weekend bonuses would be approved in times of the Migros upheaval... 😅 Someone would have to be hired on a voluntary / unpaid basis.

In times of the Migros upheaval, it is highly surprising that Fasbrice Zumbrunnen has not already closed Migipedia. Migipedia therefore seems to be at least somewhat important, which should justify weekend work for the purpose of certain maintenance.
It's a funny and somewhat strange idea that a moderator has to moderate the forum from home at the weekend.
You could also simply report the spam briefly and then read it over.
It's really enough if the mods delete the spam on Monday.
I am also more or less active in other forums and there are no mods there at the weekend. I suspect they don't even look in every day because it's unpaid volunteer work.

Report and then read over? Did you perhaps overread the amount of spam at the weekend? Normally it works, but not to the same extent as at the weekend.
