Dear Migros

I think the "AusderRegionfürdieRegion" products are great. Ecology, regionality, seasonality, Fairtrade and organic are very important to me when shopping. It's great that Migros is promoting this development.
So I ask myself: why does Migros offer cheap garlic from faraway China? And in the vegetable section next to Swiss garlic?
In general, I find it questionable with regard to Swiss producers and the environment to transport products from far away to Switzerland. Even though the same products could be grown here. It's particularly offensive when the goods are flown in by plane, such as green asparagus in winter (!). I
find it absurd to offer fruit and vegetables that are not in season here, such as strawberries in February. Or tomatoes from Morocco in January, which taste like nothing at all.

The Migros product range is huge. It has enough seasonal and local products. I would like to see more responsibility on the part of Migros so that it can set a good example.
