In any case, I wonder whether it is really necessary to put a label on every single clementine to inform people that it is a clementine (as we have now observed at Coop). If you take into account the labels, the glue, the backing paper, the packaging of the labeling material, machines, transport, etc., there is probably still a lot of potential for saving resources.

Yes, without exception! The FOPH would certainly advise peeling.
I agree with this. I don't like the stickers on organic fruit and vegetables. It's a waste to stick them on so that the consumer can then peel them off again.

The fact is that organic products must be labeled by law, from the point of sale to the checkout. It is therefore not enough to put a notice on the label. Something has to be attached to or around the product itself. That's why there's often plastic all around. Or now more and more the sticky label instead of the plastic film. It should certainly not be the case that the sticky labels stick too firmly or leave residues. The colleagues at the M-Infoline have already recorded this.
