Kiwi M-Budget

I have been buying Kiwi M-Budget for a long time. For some time now, however, the quality has deteriorated. There are at least 3-4 kiwis in the basket, which after a few days are as if inflated, even bursting and rotting.
Even though the price is lower than the normal ones, I always thought that the price had nothing to do with the quality.
Unfortunately, this is the case with many budget products: at the beginning they were great - and after a while you noticed massive deterioration. In my opinion, it's customer capture.

Hello indios

Thank you for your message. We always strive to offer consistently good quality products. Deterioration is certainly not intentional. I am very sorry that the quality of the M-Budget kiwis is not right. I will immediately approach the person responsible for the range and point this out to them.

Is it correct that you bought the kiwis in Wil SG?

Kind regards

Hello indios

I have already contacted the product manager. He explained the following to me:

We are currently at the end of the kiwi season in Europe. The kiwi is a fruit that ripens rapidly. This ripening process accelerates towards the end of the season. Unfortunately, you seem to have noticed that the kiwi was (over)ripening faster than usual. This should never happen - we carry out strict goods inspections at the entrance and freshness checks in the stores.

I will also inform the store responsible about your feedback so that they can step up their freshness checks.

Kind regards
Tanja

Thanks for the clarification. But the problem unfortunately extends throughout the year, and only with budget kiwis. That's why I don't think it's right for Budget to suddenly suffer in terms of quality.
