What do you do with the receipts? They often end up somewhere in the shopping bag without being looked at. So many people don't need them. Nevertheless, they are printed out at the checkout.
Therefore, it would be great if you could save on the Kumulus card whether you want a receipt or not. If not, it won't even be printed out. This would save Migros thousands of kilometers of receipt paper.

Great idea. I've often been annoyed by the unused receipts. Unfortunately, the ones from Migros are also printed on the back. I often use the back of the Coop ones for notes ;). Lg, "Twilight"

Yes Istanbul ... I asked for that years ago ... I even mentioned that environmental organizations claim that receipts almost always contain hazardous substances. But: you also have to be able to check the receipt ... and since you can only do this at home ... it is gratifying that Migros normally accepts complaints at a later date.
Please don't come up with the objection that you can display the receipt on your smartphone ... this is sometimes possible ... but it's far too complicated. I'm not prepared to "fondle" a smartphone for a few minutes until this is displayed.

Now you can also look at the receipts online and therefore the cashier should simply ask beforehand if you want a receipt, Migros would be doing the environment a huge favor and probably even be one of the first stores to implement something like this. This should be possible with today's technology and it would save money on paper and resources.

@bascolo NO, please don't! ... you have to regulate this with the Cumulus card ... there must be a tick in the "settings" ... "I don't want a printed receipt".
Not yet another complication for "the cashier" (not even for the "women" among the cashiers ... even if they like to chatter and guess ... but "women" are known to be not so "clever"... ;=)))))) and can't manage that in terms of intellectual volume ;=)))))) ) ... that becomes terrible: May I give you a Migros plastic egg?, May I give you the Swiss Mania scrap? If you are a Famigros member, can I give you one more Swiss Mania scrap? Would you like another reduction voucher? Wait, I still have a guarantee voucher that I need to print out. Do you want another sample? Do you want the receipt? Do you want me to tape the receipt? Should I put your socks in a plastic bag or do you want to wear them straight away? Do you want a few more "jerk-jerk-jerk-jerk points"? Happy Easter! Merry Christmas! Happy holidays! Happy Halloween. ... soon the date of birth will appear on the till and the cashiers will have to sing "Happy Birthday"... ....
We need to actively combat this horror scenario now. Otherwise, in a few years' time, some of my crazy colleagues from the "robot scene" will put robots at our checkouts, who will then rattle off all this nonsense while grinning stupidly at their laser projection teeth! ... you soon get the urge to tell the robot: "if you grin that slimy grin again and open your mouth ... your laser will hit nothing tomorrow"!
I know a few colleagues who have already "designed" (completely nonsensical) robots that just sit there and "slime" while their designers stand in front of them and act like "young fathers" who see the first burp from their offspring as a sign that it will become a Nobel Prize winner! In Japan, these piles of horror junk are already squatting at exhibitions and telling people how great coffee capsules are for beautifying our environment.

The Migipedia platform is not a Facebook replacement where people are supposed to hack on every Like button and educate others. It's about pointing out grievances and trying to ensure that Migros' offerings are constantly improving. It doesn't matter whether a Migros product comes from home or abroad.
If YOU don't like a soup that comes from a neighboring country, it may well be that the soup is really bad ... but it may also be that your hatred of foreigners means that you don't like the soup. If I don't like the food in a local restaurant ... then I'll explain that here too, but I won't insult the chef because he might be a foreigner.
The people who created Migipedia know as well as I do that such a platform is completely pointless if people just "like" everything and think it's good. There is a much bigger market for this on Facebook .... Migros already has a Facebook page where you can "like" everyone and everything. It's a waste of money if Migros also runs a page for people who think everything is good and rosy and only discuss a soup every few months because they hope it will win them a few fake friends.
