Wouldn't it be practical if the receipt could also be sorted by product group? Technically, this is easy and you could even add subtotals to the individual groups.
Perhaps the "layout" could also be selected from a few suggestions on the web or in the "M-Go" app.

A good idea, and I think it is theoretically feasible in terms of technology. It would certainly also be clearer for people who keep receipts.
If I am correct in my assumption, the products are listed in the order in which they are on the conveyor belt and scanned. - Unfortunately, I rarely look at the receipt, and when I do, I only look at the "total". - So it would be easier if you simply put the products on the conveyor belt by product group ;) But then it's a bit more complicated with the packing if you put the lighter products on the conveyor belt first.

i always try to put the heavy and "indestructible" ones (jam, cheese, bread, carrots, potatoes, apples) on the conveyor belt first, then the light ones and finally the delicate ones (like bananas, berries, lettuce).
That's basically what I do. Especially when there are a lot of people and it's better to pack straight away.
So I can well understand that it's hardly possible to put the products on the conveyor belt by category yourself. And you probably don't have the time either...

Thanks for this idea! To be honest, I find it a very exciting approach. I would also be interested to know which product groups I spend the most money on :-).
I would be very happy to pass this idea on to those responsible. They will certainly examine it and consider whether and how it could be implemented.

@Istanbul: do we always need a model from another company before we can imitate it? being innovative means introducing something that doesn't (yet) "work" for others... ;-)
