Remove cardboard from yogurt pot

Karton bei Joghurtbecher entfernen

I don't know to what extent it is technically possible, but couldn't the ingredients and the expiration date be printed directly on the cups? This is also the case with cell phone detergent, I don't think anyone would pull the cardboard off the cups.

I dispose of it separately!

The cardboard is needed for the stability of the cup, and it also helps with the ripening of the jam!

Read the article in Migros magazine no. 19, May 6, 2013, pages 50-55.

Good morning, I also always take the cartons from the tubs, that's why we have a carton collection once a month in our community. But as far as I remember, yogurts used to be without cartons.

The plastic cup can be made thinner with cardboard. The recycling notice ♻ on the cup shows that the cardboard belongs in the cardboard collection, the cup in the garbage bag.
I'm also one of those who remove the cardboard and collect it separately ☺

The date is usually on the lid, isn't it? I actually think that's good.

The apartment building where we live has the luxury of a cardboard container. Paper is collected every 2 weeks.

I dispose of the cartons of yogurt and crème fraîche as well as the rolls of toilet paper and household paper.

I do it like Moz, I collect as much as possible and recycle it, so I only have one bin bag a month.

Hey Nero12

I'm really impressed that you only manage one bag a month. My hat's off to you.

In summer, I can easily keep up with one bag in 5 Karton.jpgweeks. Not in winter, because I still have the cat litter to dispose of.

The "cartons" of yoghurt and the like are collected in a box and taken sporadically with the newspapers etc. (not garbage) to the landfill, which opens three times a week: http://www.leplateaudediesse.ch/services/gestion_des_dechets.

Interested in what we can dispose of? Open Memento déchets 2015.

Hey @moz79

One waste bag per month is not a problem for us as we have a very large garden, a dairy cow and therefore don't have to buy a lot of things. And in winter, we empty the freezer and freeze what grows in the garden in summer or the cow with the surplus milk.
