Why are there no longer any packaged calf kidneys on offer? Have the kidneys of the calves slaughtered at Migros been bred out? It is astonishing that I can find pig kidneys and pig hearts in my Migros supermarket, but no calf kidneys, which as far as I know are not only eaten by dogs and cats.

I usually shop at M Winterthur-Deutweg, but the same applies to MMM Neuwiesen. Veal kidneys are a delicacy for me.
Incidentally, they were on sale before BSE, although it's a mystery to me what kidneys have to do with BSE.

Thank you for the clarification, I found out from the product manager that the veal kidneys were unfortunately not very popular and therefore often spoiled in the stores. We have therefore decided to remove this product from our range.
However, you can order the product from your store and pick it up there.
