Yay, the Migros-Grosi has learned to bake without palm oil!
Juhu, das Migros-Grosi hat gelernt, ohne Palmöl zu backen!
The words "New quality" made me curious. And lo and behold: the Grosis Cake (lemon, marble, chocolate, now also available under "Grosis", the Tyrolean Cake) no longer contains palm oil. Yes, there is such a thing! Just two years ago, people here were trying to convince us that we couldn't do without it... So now the fraudulent labeling is history. Or maybe not quite yet? I still found palm oil in the product description for the carrot cake and the financier cake. Have these not yet been updated or has the recipe for these items not (yet) been changed?
It's a shame that the Branchli Cake has been removed from the range. It can't have been due to its popularity, as this cake was always the first to sell out during promotions. But perhaps palm oil-free Branchlis have yet to be found...
