Yogurt lid

Joghurt-Deckel

Conserving resources for the sake of the environment is ok, but quality should not suffer when saving money. In the past, you could simply tear open a yogurt and you had the whole lid in one piece in your hand. Today, with the very thin lids, this is usually no longer possible and you end up with a smaller mess. Too bad

Hello Sulser. Thank you for your message. It is annoying when the aluminum lids tear when the product is opened. This problem is caused by too high a sealing temperature and/or uneven sealing pressure when the lid is closed. We have already taken various measures to improve the tear resistance of yogurt lids. We are also continuing our efforts to improve the stability of the yoghurt lids. Best regards, Noemi

But you haven't managed it in 3 years despite "all efforts and endeavors". Pretty weak. https://migipedia.migros.ch/de/forum/joghurt-aludeckeli-reissen-beim-oeffnen?backtoboard=q%3DJoghurt%26p%3D3%26sort%3Dlast_activity&p=1 Other lids from other stores open without any problems. But it's nice to see your efforts😉

If you make an effort, you shouldn't be surprised if you end up with some ;-) By the way, I've mentioned it before: the plastic lids on organic yogurts never tear. I also can't understand how anyone can still insist on using aluminum, which is an extremely energy-intensive raw material for production, apart from the scars that bauxite mining leaves behind in the affected landscapes.
