Internet fraudsters misuse Migros logo

Internetbetrüger missbrauchen Migros-Logo

Watch out with Migros surveys: Internet fraudsters are currently trying to obtain data with a fake survey on Facebook and Twitter. The fraudsters are luring people in with a 300-franc shopping voucher.

This is not the first time the logo has been misused for phishing attacks. Keystone The phishing attempt this time comes via Facebook and Twitter. "Get your free CHF 300 Migros voucher now!" is the message advertising participation in a predetermined Migros survey on the Internet. Anyone who falls for it and forwards the message to 15 friends is asked, among other things, to enter their address, an email address and a cell phone number.
Not the first case of phishingMigros has nothing to do with this survey, however, as Migros spokesman Luzi Weber confirms media reports. The phishing attempt took place that night and the relevant federal authorities and customers have already been informed. This is the second time that the retailer's logo has been misused for phishing. Last fall, Internet fraudsters tried to obtain customer data in a similar way by e-mail.
