I recently bought the Choc Midor Noir wafers. The packaging has two protrusions which mean that four fewer wafers fit into the packaging. Do these protrusions have a function or are they just there to reduce the contents? It could hardly be easier to achieve greater sustainability than with a packaging design that conserves as many resources as possible.

As a result, the packaging has changed slightly. One big advantage is that the individual wafers now stick together less. At the same time, as you correctly point out, we were able to switch to a recycled material that is much more sustainable than the old one - thanks to 80% recycled raw materials. Thank you for the additional information regarding the recycled raw materials. However, your reply does not explain the function of the two elevations in the packaging. Without these elevations, there would be room for 4 more wafers with the same packaging size.

Hello einfachm, thank you for your feedback. The new packaging system has this shape. As already mentioned, we can simplify the gluing and removal process with this variant.
