Bodenseeknusperli's solution makes more sense because you can scan the products at the shelf and not just in front of the Subito terminal. By then it's usually too late, as nobody wants to put the products they don't like back on the shelf.

I prefer to manipulate only one device when shopping - I usually have my hands full anyway. I think Codecheck is OK - why not integrate a Codecheck query option on the Subito terminal? Or does Migros have something to hide?
By the way: I'm quite happy to put a product back on the shelf if I don't like its contents...
Most of the packaging is very difficult to decipher and is more like the small print in a contract - the E-numbers are also not explained and there are no explanations of problematic ingredients.
What would be really cool would be if I could enter at the start of my purchase or in my Cumulus profile that I don't want to buy products with peanuts, for example, and a corresponding warning would be displayed when I scan. That would be a real added value.

If it says "PALM" on it, I put it back on the shelf and as long as Migros only accepts card payment at the self-scan, I go to the "cashier" to pay.
