Idea: Electronic "label" for fruit and vegetables when shopping with Subito
Idee: Elektronische "Etikette" bei Früchten und Gemüse beim Einkauf mit Subito

Hello everyone,
I've noticed that the price labels of fruit, vegetables etc. that I weigh myself end up in the bin immediately after shopping. As I practically only shop with Subito, I had the idea that the scan code could appear in electronic form on the display of the scales. As soon as it has been scanned with the Subito device, the ettikete on the display would disappear again and the scales would be ready for the next customer. Of course, the option for a physical printout would also have to be available for customers who do not shop with Subito or would like the ettikets.
I myself am a student and buy fruit and vegetables in small quantities and these only last for 2-3 days, which means that I have to print out several labels each time I go shopping. (And in my opinion, everyone judges whether a fruit or vegetable is still edible by its appearance and taste and not by the date of purchase, which would no longer be immediately visible with such a measure).
Migros and customers who do not necessarily need the label can "benefit" from this. Migros therefore uses fewer labels. The customer has "less" waste and can make a small contribution against the unnecessary waste of resources.
It should certainly be possible to convert the scales and I don't see any other disadvantages at first glance.
Perhaps there are also some of you who find this idea useful.
Kind regards shawan
