At the MM Gossau SG store, they said that this green tea was no longer available. The sales rack was also empty.

It could well be incorrect information that you received... Or they were too lazy/too late or similar to refill the rack immediately, or they only received the delivery later or something similar. According to the Migros website, the Migros Supermarket - Gossau - Stadtbühlpark branch has 1 piece, the Migros Supermarket - Gossau branch has 27.

I don't understand why there should have been too little customer demand for many of the products that have been removed from the range...

Hello smartcoyote, thank you for your feedback. We are currently working on an alternative. I understand what you are saying. Unfortunately, certain adjustments to our product range are unavoidable. In order to keep our range varied and attractive, we regularly review our product range. As part of these measures, some items have to go. Not least to make room for new products and trends.
