The other day I wanted to buy cottage cheese at Migros Wohlen/AG, but after a long search I couldn't find anything labeled like this, so I asked an employee for the product and he showed me where it was on the rack.
Unfortunately, the labeling was in English, i.e. Cottage Cheese! We live in Switzerland, why can't a product be labeled in good German?

Thank you for your message. That's a good question. I don't know exactly what the thinking behind it was. But I could imagine that it would be easier because you wouldn't have to label the product in three languages (German, French, Italian). Sometimes the space on the packaging is very limited, which may have prompted those responsible to take this step.
But I'll ask about this in a moment and get back to you if there are any other reasons.

It is as I suspected. We are very cautious with foreign-language names. However, this has proved successful with this product and it is very popular. There are no plans to change the name.
I am sure that you will find the product very quickly now that you know how it is written.
