I find it worrying that milette baby sun cream contains substances that are said to have a hormonal effect.
I would very much welcome it if migros would label such products better. However, it would be even better if migros were to take on a pioneering role and completely dispense with products containing such ingredients.

I share Stephu's opinion. Unfortunately, there are many other products in Migros that also contain harmful ingredients! The Sanwiches, for example, are very bad.

I have asked our specialists at Mibelle. Can you clarify exactly which substances you mean? According to all scientific findings, none of the substances used in the Milette sun cream (or the other Migros cosmetics) are hormonally active. Individual UV filters, preservatives and other substances have been shown in tests to have a slight hormone-like effect. However, these are not used in Migros cosmetics. But even this effect is many times less than that of certain natural substances such as those found in soy.

The UV filters 4-Methyl-Benzylidenecamphor (4-MBC or MBC), Octyl-Methoxycinnamate (OMC), Benzophenone-3 (Oxybenzone), Homosalate (Homomenthylsalicylate or HMS) and Octyl-Dimethyl-Para-Amino-Benzoic-Acid (OD-PABA) are suspected to act like hormones. They are absorbed through the skin and can be detected in breast milk. Benzophenone-3 (oxybenzone) also has a strong allergenic effect. Benzophenone-1 and benzophenone-2 as well as 3-benzylidenecamphor are also suspected of having a hormonal effect. I have clarified this with our supplier and those responsible for the product range. None of the substances you mentioned are contained in Milette baby products. All formulas are state of the art. All formulations are specially adapted to the sensitive skin of babies so that they can feel completely comfortable.
