The pumpkin season usually starts around August and is then over around November/December for local pumpkin varieties. I would buy it while you can still get it, it's also quite easy to store :)

There are stores that sell these pumpkins all year round. In my opinion, the Hokkaido is the best. Well, Alnatura Konstanz gives you the opportunity to do this all year round....

At Alnatura in Constance? That's an organic store, they all come from Germany.
Hello indios, thank you for your inquiry. I was happy to enquire at the supermarket in Wil. The orange Knirps will be on the shelves until around Christmas. The butternut is available until around February/March. Kind regards, Tabea
