When I shop at Migros and use the Cumulus card to pay, the products are registered in the app. It would be good if the Migros app could alert me to products that are about to expire.

Do you mean the expiration date on the product? That doesn't work at all, how are you supposed to record the date, sometimes it's already hard to record the knitting code😅 A little tip when putting away: put the new one behind/under the old one, check it once a week (I always do it before the weekly shop when there's only a little left anyway) But I find it amusing (meant neutrally) how you need an app for everything today, soon there will be one for getting dressed in the morning, the toothbrush already has an app, crazy times😁

Yes, exactly. I am convinced that it is possible. Just because something doesn't exist yet doesn't mean it's not possible. For example, flying and the internet, etc. 😜 Considering that 30% of the food we buy ends up in the bin, #foodwaste, I think it would be helpful.

Hmhmhm an article number is scanned. Is it a number that changes with the date? As far as I know there is a kind of number and not an expiry date. That's why it doesn't work. Aaaaaaand it would certainly be feasible to make the date so that it is read out separately. Hmhmhm that will be expensive because it needs a 2nd thing that reads the date. That doesn't exist yet and would be double the memory. I'm afraid you'll have to look for yourself. I've already had some moldy things before the expiry date, you're not protected anyway, I don't think that will happen. And I mean Coop, Denner and the Germans in general...

A separate EAN code would have to be created for each product and each sell-by or best-before date, which would have to be constantly entered into the system or deleted again. And for what? We do not currently have such a device in our range. For customers who want to check the contents of their fridge on the go and then place an order directly on Migros Online, for example, we are introducing a brand new fridge to our range in August "Article: Samsung Foodcenter RS6HA8891SL/WS". It's an indictment that more and more people are capable of less and less thanks to smartphones, tablets and rescht, even if there have been a lot of health problems in the last 2 years, so I make sure that nobody "takes the butter off my bread" and try to do as much as possible myself, even more so when I've been in a wheelchair for 3 years.
