Hay milk, the other lactose-free?

Heumilch, das andere Laktosefrei?

Hello everyone, don't worry, I am aware that hay milk also contains lactose. Nevertheless, this experience with hay milk may be of interest to some "I can't tolerate milk" people. I found out from my GP that, like many others, I can no longer tolerate milk well. There has been a wild debate for years as to why the number of lactose intolerant people has risen so sharply. You often hear that it's because today's children don't go out and "eat dirt". Well, it's close to the truth - but it's not the children - it's the cows. Almost all of our cows today no longer eat grass (hay), instead they are given concentrated feed (including soya). As a result, the milk is of a different, even poor quality, because the more different the grasses (herbs), the more nutrients - the healthier the milk. Anecdote about my unconscious self-experiment: After the diagnosis, I was on vacation in Greece again for years and drank normal Greek whole milk due to old habits. It wasn't until the second day that I realized that I hadn't previously reacted to the lactose in this milk. Together with friends, I came up with the theory that this must have something to do with the way the cows were kept, or rather their feed. Independently of this, I found out from a documentary on ARD "The tricks with milk and cheese" that the term "hay milk", at least in Germany, guarantees cows that eat mainly grass. So I started drinking hay milk. It was amazing how well I tolerated it - just like before, without any problems. I tolerated more lactose-containing products. A farmer from Zermatt told me about a similar experience with a lactose-intolerant visitor. He was sad about his intolerance to dairy products, but the farmer encouraged him to eat his home-made yoghurt from his meadow cows with his zMorgä - he would certainly tolerate it. And yes, the man tolerated it and was very surprised. It's also the case that if I don't drink hay milk, the intolerance symptoms return immediately. Unfortunately, although knowledge of the benefits is spreading, there is no hay milk to buy in Migros. Why would any of you be happy if Migros were to include hay milk in its range? -- I kindly ask all vegans not to propagandize here, otherwise the topic will go completely under --
