Why is the origin often not given in German on Migipedia? I find it very tedious when I first have to use a translation program to find out which country it is. Can't you adapt this?

Exactly, and as far as I know, Migros always indicates the origin in French.
However, I would be interested to know why the information is in French, which I am still trying to find out.

Got the new fountain pen from Schreibkultur Schiff St. Gallen, which I now have to write in, as the gold nib is learning. Handmade paper and envelopes are then written on for wedding invitations, which was also delivered by the most beautiful stationer in Europe and also with a café that comes up with new delicacies every day.

Unfortunately, I have not found out the reason for the French designation of origin.
But the fact is, as Istanbul has already correctly pointed out, that the designation of origin must be in a national language. At Migros this is French.
