Why is it that Migros only sells bread with a thick crust, which becomes a tough challenge on the second day?

For my taste, the bread is already too hard when I buy it.
There used to be wonderful bread made from corn flour that almost melted in your mouth. In contrast, you almost need a sledgehammer for today's selection.
