Unfortunately, I was in a bit of a hurry and didn't look very closely. At home I realized that the supposed bargain (1/2 price) did not correspond to what I had to pay. I bought two packets, which would originally have cost Fr. 2.50. But instead of paying Fr. 1.25 for them, I was charged Fr. 1.90. The other two would have cost Fr. 2.35, and instead of Fr. 1.20 I paid Fr. 1.75 for them!
Dear Migros: either you replace the "1/2" signs with signs that say "Reduced", or you really do work out half the price! What you are doing in "our" Migros is anything but correct, and as a Migros customer I feel (once again) cheated!

Thank you for your feedback. The easiest way in such cases is to contact the store with the product. The stores label the reduced items individually and can help you most directly. This is obviously a reduction of1/4 of the original price. Migros also uses colorful, eye-catching stickers for this purpose, but there is no half-price marking. Are you sure that you saw the 1/2 marking, or did your "subconscious" suggest it to you?
Yes, the label "1/2" is emblazoned large above the freezer with the reduced items! If it said "reduced", I would understand, but if it says 1/2, the customer can expect that to be the case. For me it is pure misleading of customers! Especially when you're in a hurry, you only notice the "1/2".
But at Migros, nothing surprises me anymore. I used to be almost a fan of Migros, but now I only buy the essentials there. The company has (unfortunately) become more than unappealing to me.
Sometimes there are customers like us who put products somewhere in the fridge even though they don't belong there. It often happens to me that clothes are put in the sale... and then I have the feeling it's reduced...
I would have talked to the customer service staff... instead of posting it here...

Yes, I've seen that a few times too. I suspect someone had the 25% item in their trolley/basket, then came across the 50% offer and simply put the 25% back and swapped it for the 50% reduced item. Especially with shelves and freezers where everything is reduced, you have to be careful.
Only where it really says 50% on the product (not on the shelf!) is there a 50% reduction. But as I always use self-scanning anyway, luckily I notice this immediately.
People who can read drive better!
The meat was indeed reduced, but only 25% and not 1/2 as on the bold sign above the chest! This is nothing more than misleading the customer, and Migros can be glad that I didn't take a photo of it and pass it on to the cashier! If the sign said "Reduced", it wouldn't be a problem, but you can't put up a 1/2 price sign and then reduce the goods by just 25%. And the meat did belong in this chest and was not "accidentally" put there by someone.
Incidentally, I have already observed exactly the same thing in the Migros in Bremgarten. Normally I pay attention too, as I have noticed several times that half the price at Migros can also only be 25%, but that day I was in a hurry. So once again: either put up a proper sign saying "Reduced" or actually write down the goods at half price. Anything else is fraudulent deception of the customer. Incidentally, there are also customers who have very poor eyesight (I know them personally). They can read the "1/2" sign, but their eyesight is no longer good enough to read the signs with the reduced prices in small print. These people also have a right not to be cheated.
Incidentally, I'm only interested in the principle and not in the three or four francs I've paid too much!
Hello Bodenseeknusperli. Here are the facts again, so that perhaps you too can understand: There is a large sign with "1/2" on the shelf. Clear so far? There are various meat products in the freezer, which, as a customer might expect when there is a 1/2 sign above them, are reduced. Clear so far? There is a sticker on each of the items that says "reduced price". Clear so far? BUT: (usually on Saturday) these prices are not reduced by half as the sign suggests, but sometimes only 25%. All clear?
As already written before: if there was a sign above the chest with "reduced" or even just one with "%", it would be correct! But to pretend to customers that all the goods in the freezer are reduced by 50% is, in my opinion, nothing more than deception! And no, it's not that someone has put an item in the wrong place.
I apologize for the rude tone of the last message. I'm under extreme pressure at the moment. But I stand by the statement itself, because the label above the chest is misleading if the items in it are not marked at half price! I continue to describe this as consumer deception.

Hard to believe. This afternoon I went to Migros and instead of the miserable (and wrong) "1/2" sign, there is actually a correct sign above the counter saying "reduced".
