Gustissimo bread

Gustissimo Brot

Hello
my favorite bread Gustissimo has disappeared since 2-3 weeks.
Is this only temporary? It was super crispy and fresh for a long time.
I tried 2 new breads...Bien cuit...nothing special.
The bundt bread is very good...but not Gustissimo.
Hopefully it will be available again soon.
And I hope that many people like me will miss it very much.

Hello ardevaz

Thank you for your message. I'm very sorry that you can no longer find your favorite bread in our range. Can you tell me which store you usually shop in? Then I can find out why the bread is no longer available.

Usually, products that we remove from our range are no longer so popular. As we are always adapting our range to the needs of as many customers as possible, we are unfortunately sometimes forced to remove less popular products from our range and replace them with new, innovative variants.

I would be happy to clarify for you whether this is also the case with Gustissimo bread if you tell me in which region you have bought it so far.

Kind regards
Tanja

Hi Tanja I bought the bread in the Sion ouder Chateau-Neuf Conthey stores in Valais.
The baker told me that the Gustissimo bread has been replaced by bundle bread and "très cuit". A real shame. ?

Hello ardevaz

Thanks for the addition to the message. It really sounds as if the Gustissimo bread was no longer so popular and has therefore been replaced by the new bundle bread.

I am very sorry.

Best regards

Hello Tanja
Exgüsi,that I am now changing the type of bread :) I wanted to ask if you can also offer the potato bread in 500 grams or larger in one of your branches in Bern. (E.g. at the main station or in Köniz) So far, it's only available in the mini size of 350 grams everywhere. That's certainly ok for singles and those without children, but it's not ideal for a larger family. As it is unfortunately the only type of bread that we really like at Migros at the moment, we very rarely buy our bread (and therefore the shopping around it) from you, but as soon as the potato bread comes in a decent size, this could change very quickly :)
Best regards and thank you for your feedback

Hello bread eater,

Thank you for your request. Exactly as you say, different sizes of packaging and bread would be needed for different sizes of households. This is sometimes difficult to implement, as it applies to most products. I will gladly take up your request and pass it on to the product managers. Perhaps the potato bread is already available in 500g or you are considering introducing it.

Kind regards,

Antonia, Migipedia team

Hello Antonia
Would be great to find out! I would even go some distance for it.
Butter plaits are also available in different sizes. And potato bread seems to me to be just as popular or well on the way to becoming so ;)
Best regards

Hello bread eaters

There are currently no plans to introduce a larger potato and nut bread at the Migros Aare Cooperative.

However, we are keeping the idea on our list - it would be better to offer a 500 gram alternative at a later date.

Kind regards
Tanja

Hello Tanja

That's an extreme pity.

Please let me know if it should be introduced at some point, as I won't be keeping an eye on it, but when I see the dwarf lumps I always wonder why the baker can't knead twice the amount of dough for me without further ado ;-)

What seems so simple from customer to producer over the counter is so infinitely difficult in a large company, with hundreds of intermediaries, idea evaluators and bread size decision-makers ;-)

Best regards
