Hello everyone We have the problem that our child is 2 years old, 104 cm tall and weighs 18 kg. Unfortunately, diaper size 6 hardly fits anymore and doesn't last through the night. So we are faced with the challenge of getting a 2-year-old dry. Wouldn't it be worth offering another diaper size as people get older? Or is it just us who have this problem?

We felt the same way. And if you also look at the diarrhea, a bigger diaper would be great. It's really bad if you don't have diapers that fit. The simple insert diaper slips too much and is without plastic (but I think that's good), so urine and very liquid stool would get through. Wouldn't be suitable for you alone. Have you tried this simple "absorbent cotton" insert diaper overnight? In other words, put an extra one inside the normal diaper? A very bad technique would be to simply put on 2 diapers. There are different absorbencies for adults (just like sanitary towels) which would also be brilliant. Day and night versions. The largest was often not enough for us. It is so difficult and still is - e.g. with diarrhoea. They don't make it to the toilet so quickly... And from 116 to 150/160 cm you can't get anything suitable in the "normal" stores. Who wants to go to the medical supply store/drugstore/pharmacy for that? So I can fully understand your problem. The ones from Landi and Aldi were still different in terms of fit and size. Hmhm, I think Landi's were bigger, Aldi's bigger...? Try others. At least for the night? I'm still struggling with these simple pads at the moment when I have stool/diarrhea. So done, sorry it's a bit long.

Ha, there are coincidences. Too late for me 😢 ↵↵Today in the advertising brochure in Aldi there are diapers from 16kg- 30kg size 6!↵↵But maybe the 5s will still fit you - it always depends on how big they are.↵

I can confirm that too. (I'm not the one mentioned...) They have a completely different fit and are worth a try. And are worth a try. But dear Migros, they tend to tear open with the larger ones. And unfortunately they don't close again. They were also tight with us. In addition, the absorbency was very very tight overnight. I often had the bed wet. I was able to improve this somewhat by using a simple diaper, but of course they sometimes slipped and then it didn't always help. A slightly larger one with a little more absorbency is really missing.

Oh no, I didn't write it well. I meant for the bigger or stronger children. And if you use them for a long time, they simply tear easily at the predetermined breaking point. The children then go to the toilet on their own and are not always careful... We had the problem that there are simply no big diapers for stronger children. Apparently a gap in the market. Since we no longer have this problem (only when we are ill...) I didn't think to write about it here. Unfortunately it was too long ago because of the batch number etc. And I think it was NOT because of the diapers. They were just in short supply...

The absorbent cotton insert would be a good idea, but unfortunately anything extra is annoying for her, as she also suffers from neurodermatitis. The extra absorbency would be really brilliant. Look at the Landi, they actually have diapers for petite adults, but maybe they will work? I didn't take any today, but I'm already thinking about whether it's worth having a packet there in case of illness (e.g. massive diarrhea). They seem trustworthy.
