Greenpan with limited shelf life

Greenpan mit begrenzter Haltbarkeit

The M-Infoline has been very accommodating towards me in relation to a Greenpan pan. Nevertheless, it is noteworthy that it writes: "Ceramic coatings lose their non-stick coating over time". However, this is concealed in the product descriptions and on the goods. Even on the website of the coating manufacturer greenpan.ch, the limited durability is not mentioned. After several negative experiences, I can only advise against buying Greenpan. (PS of course NEVER cleaned in the dishwasher, only with warm water and hand detergent).

I also wanted to buy a Greenpan pan once (when it was on 40% discount), but then decided against it for that very reason. I was told by several friends and relatives how miserable the quality of these pans is... I either buy the titanium pans from Migros (when they are 40% or 50% off, the normal price is simply too expensive for me and not financially viable), they are really great. Or then I buy ceramic pans from Lidl/Aldi when they have them on special offer; they are of impeccable quality, last a long time and are great.

Hello c_m_s Thank you for sharing your experience here. Unfortunately, the coating does indeed wear off. However, this also depends very much on how and how often you use the Greenpan pan. The pans should normally last at least 5 to 10 years. We are constantly working to improve our products and Greenpan as a brand also makes every effort to ensure that the pan meets all requirements. We will incorporate your feedback into the improvement process. best regards, Angela

I asked colleagues, friends and relatives who have a Greenpan. At least some of them were able to confirm that their pan lasted 5-10 years, while around 80% of them threw it away after 3-4 years... Not a single one lasted 10 years.
