Dear Migros
Yesterday, a children's event took place for the second time in 23 Migros Cooperative Eastern Switzerland in-house bakeries. Over 1000 registered young bakers (according to an article in the Zürcher Oberländer) were able to make a Grittibänz, paint a bread sack and gain an insight into the craft of a bakery under professional guidance.
One of the 1000 children was my daughter, soon to be six years old, who took part in the event in SH-Herblingen. In the evening, she proudly showed me her self-painted cloth sack and of course HER Grittibänz - the most beautiful of all! She ate it for dinner, garnished with butter. I couldn't get hold of a single crumb. She raved about the event to the skies, even if the "boys" sometimes allowed her to have fun.
I find this kind of action very likeable, especially when it comes from large companies like Migros. Giving them a look behind the scenes, involving them, creates a completely different relationship with a company and the product. My daughter is well on the way to becoming a Migros child ;-).
Thank you for the campaign and to everyone who was involved in any way.
