Coop offers several competitions a year in the app for free products, perhaps with the background that customers buy other products when they come to collect their free products. Migros could also launch such games.

The Coop games are great, I've often won products that I would never have bought otherwise.
Yes, I thought that too, Migros is really stingy, even with discounts and additional points it's getting more and more puny.....
Shake and Win at Coop is meega, here below as pictures times who does not know what you get so given, once was Easter (see Easter chocolate bunny) once in December, also often given with super points or Hotelplan discounts ect In Lidl you get now every day in January 5.- discount on a purchase from 50.- so with an amount of a good 50.- it would be 10% directly deducted at the checkout as a promotion, I do not know when I ever again 5x Cumulus points so 5% would have. You first have to shop 3 times a week to collect points, then you redeem a x3 Cumulus voucher for free with a number of points or something, just so tedious. It's a nice thing to have these promotions with others, but it would be an incentive for Migros to come up with something that is more directly rewarding for the customer in the end. Maybe it will come to these ominous team meetings where wishes are discussed - and although practically nothing has really been done in all these years, at least one M more has been discussed😉
Well, the current Coop promotion is all well and good, but I do have a few question marks. On the one hand, the most popular prizes regularly leave a gaping hole in the shelves. On the other hand, the products themselves. Take the toothbrush, for example: only the medium version is free, even though every dentist recommends the softer soft version. Or the Rio Mare Insalatissime: only the least popular Mexicaine is free, which is already too spicy for me. As you know, you don't look a gift horse in the mouth, but all in all I have the impression that Coop is doing this promotion more for itself than for its customers.

I know what it's like to stand in front of an empty shelf, but sometimes there is an alternative. Maybe you also have to go when you have around 3 free products and not wait until there are 10 of them. Once again I got a receipt for the restaurant. If I'm lucky, I'll get one a year at Migros, even though I often eat at Migros restaurants or Days Away. What's more, for at least 5 years there has been no 5-fold Cumulus voucher for adults on their birthdays - only for children. Well, let's see what else is coming soon in Migros Zurich apart from this "Dwarf Hamster Mumpfi".

Since when was there 5x cumulus for birthdays? But I like the Cumulus Program more than the Coop system...

I've been in the bonus program at both retailers for almost 20 years. I think the "birthday bonus" was introduced between 07 and 10, but for the last 4 or 5 years it's only been available for children's birthdays.
