I understand that many people don't really want to care about being healthy or sensible. But why can I hardly buy a drink out because everything is only available in PET - which, contrary to a Migros comment on Twitter, is not harmless to health.

Mineral water in glass is also not as easy to get as it used to be!
It is particularly funny to buy organic drinks or organic sprouts for salads (e.g. Power Mix from Migros) in PET. Why should the customer pay extra for organic products if the packaging doesn't fit? Polypropylene PP would be less questionable.
It is well known that PET often releases too many "hormonal" substances. Doesn't anyone want to change this?

Personally, I would also prefer the glass bottles. I don't like the taste of iced tea from PET bottles.
Unfortunately, however, this will hardly change because of the weight savings.
I have heard that Coca Cola is bringing glass bottles back onto the market (they are also produced for restaurants). Ironically, I like Coke best from a cold aluminum can.

It depends on what you're drinking from and I don't like PET because of the way it looks. My first experience with packaging was drinking wine from a tin cup. Cola made from aluminum may taste good, but aluminum - if not painted - is not a good packaging material either. What the lacquer does to the contents is also not entirely clear because nothing is written about it.
In my opinion, health must come first, but I am rather wrong about that. Or as my grandmother said: "What you have planted and tended yourself, harvested yourself and processed carefully is healthy. And she doesn't mean cheap additives like sugar, palm oil from peat bogs or other additives.
BTW: No, not everything is the devil ;-)
