Bravo! Last Saturday at Migros Hofmatt Kriens, I was able to buy potatoes from Val Mustair whose skins didn't look very nice because of a scab. I would be very supportive if Migros offered many more of these products in the fruit and vegetable section. It would be a real eye-opener if Migros continued to develop in this area. Consumers will thank Migros for this and will be pleased to be able to support farmers with their honest products. Please keep up the good work!

That's all well and good. But I assume that there are also farmers in the Kriens region whose "Härdöpfu" have not met the exaggerated requirements of the "consumers". So it would definitely not be necessary to cart the potatoes that don't meet the requirements halfway across Switzerland first. But our logistics madness is probably too far advanced for that. Sometimes I really don't understand why non-standard food cannot be sold. So much has to be thrown away by farmers. It really makes my heart ache... It's clear that such a changeover can't happen overnight. But some products could be saved if every Migros had a small section of different-looking food. That way, at least some of the products could be saved. I am convinced that the products would be bought. Regardless of whether they are crooked or smaller than usual.
