FRANC FORT

The Swiss food industry takes us for poor people. With our enormous purchasing power, we don't even have the choice of buying delicatessen or French organic products. We can only find migros brand organic products, for example. This can be seen in the ingredient lists of certain products, with the result that the healthiest ingredient list is found on the only non-coop organic product (cereal bar).
Migros could make an effort to reduce allergens: all milk derivatives, for example. Ingredients that get bad press and are difficult to digest: sorbitol. Make real bread: without milk, but with a long levitation. Make authentic products: ricotta from sheep's milk, not cow's milk. Make Greek-style yoghurt from sheep's milk instead of cow's milk - that's all they're known for. Reduce ingredient lists, because the longer they are, the less I buy.
On TV news, we're led to believe that goat's milk is all the rage, but we're still a long way from having butter. In France, you can even find rice yoghurt made with sheep's milk, for example.
Geneva is surrounded by organic supermarkets in France. We're surprised that the small stores in Geneva aren't very successful. The reason is their size, and the fact that there aren't any in the city center.
