Why is the top slice of cold cuts/meat always on the opposite side of the pack opening (this triangle for tearing)?
It would be easy to turn the meat when packing it so that you don't always have to tear it open unnecessarily.

I've often thought that too.
We discussed this issue at length more than a year ago. Unfortunately, the forum entries are no longer searched by the search engine, so it is difficult to find earlier interesting links. Maybe I can still find it with "Inspector Chance"! :-).
