Dear Migros
Unfortunately, the offer of "meat marinade" is increasingly outweighing "meat without marinade", which is a shame and annoying. There are customers who prefer natural meat and prefer their own light marinade. Just now in Migros Zurich HB there were slices of bacon for the grill, but only marinated, which I left for this reason. What a pity! It would be nice if meat products would return to the "less is more" approach.

I also noticed this in 9500 Wil, as well as in the fish department. Sometimes you even got pieces of meat only marinated, but not pure. That really bothers me. I want the meat without these marinades and if I do, I make them myself.
It would therefore be really desirable if, for example, the marinades were sold on their own and not already marinated.

So I would say buy and bunker meat in winter. The other problem I have is that you have to ask for marinade at the counter during the winter, otherwise you have to look for it somewhere.

Convenience in the kitchen and on the barbecue is a customer requirement and the demand for pre-marinated meat cuts is increasing year on year. We design our range accordingly. Nevertheless, we do not sell the vast majority of our products marinated or seasoned. Migros offers a wide and deep range of meat for all customers and, as already mentioned, most products are not marinated.
For next winter, we are currently working on a winter barbecue range for self-service. Either way, the Migros butcher will marinate your desired piece of meat at the meat counter all year round. Have fun barbecuing!

@Kathrin_Migros thank you very much for your information. It is true that in large 2 and 3 M Migros there is a meat counter with great service. (This also applies to cheese and fish counters) But unfortunately not so much on the shelves of 1M Migros. Unmarinated is more likely to be found.
You could (another one of my glorious ideas) marinate things that are not marinated, and put what has marinade on the shelf unmarinated.
Then it wouldn't be right either. What one person likes, another doesn't.
Now let's all take a deep breath and count to 3.

I will bring ideas to the table when I can, where I can. For example, insects in the range ;-) Crickets deep-fried or something. I'll be patient and hope that there will at least be a tasting somewhere.

There were insect tastings in a broader sense in June, when a Micarna truck was on the road offering insect burgers....
Maybe you'll be able to enjoy it if it goes on tour again?
I admit, I don't fancy mealworms, crickets and the like.
