I am often critical enough, so praise should not be missing when it is appropriate. MM Bern-Freudenberg was my regular store from 2011 onwards, but I had often written here that it should be stripped of its second M after the range of products had steadily shrunk. After the opening of the new Gümligen branch, I only visited Freudenberg rarely, and for the last three years never at all. Now more and more items have disappeared from Gümligen over the last few months, so today I did another availability check for some items in my area and was surprised to find that Freudenberg had everything I was looking for in its range. So I went there (it's only slightly further than Gümligen for me) and found a remodeled, very inviting store. When I was looking around, which was unavoidable due to the changeover, I discovered many items that I used to have to go into town to MMM Marktgasse for - even the original spelt bread was still available at lunchtime ;-) That's a real stand-out and I'll be shopping in this store more often in future.
