I find it funny that as soon as the poinsettia is gone, there's Epiphany cake...
If it's too early, you don't have to buy it, those who like it will be happy ;)
I was also quite surprised when I went shopping last Friday and discovered the Fasnachtschüechli. But I'm happy about it, even though I don't actually buy the Chüechli. But the Epiphany cake is a must. Even if it's still too early, and even if it's actually the same as the Advent star *laughs* ...
Christmas güezi in October:

What's the problem? If you don't want it yet, you don't have to buy it, and if you like it, you'll be happy to have it all for a long time!
We can be glad that we're not already being pestered with Christmas cookies from August 1st. Fortunately, Christmas is a barrier for the Fasnachtschüechli, otherwise they'd probably already be around on Boxing Day.
For the record:
The Osterchüachli and other Easter articles were also allowed to show off at the start of carnival;-)
And after Easter, you'll probably be able to find the first 1st August Weggen in the baked goods department ;-)
I'm just bringing this topic up again: in our Migros store this year, the Fasnachtschüechli were already piled up on Christmas Eve, i.e. December 24th! It almost hit me ... hey, Christmas isn't even over yet! dear Migros, no, customers don't want THAT!!!!

I could eat Fasnachsküchli all year round (ok not when it's so extremely hot, but 11.11 is the foolish season... why not from November? Why not from November? King cake is really something on 24.12. (But some people probably already like it now...)
