I don't think such campaigns are bad in principle. But there is always a lot of waste, especially plastic, and a lot of duplicate figurines or glue ends up in the bin. Less would sometimes be more, always this total excess ... The farm action is all well and good, but again a lot of plastic, the horse can hardly stand so bad is the quality. Why not just offer 5 animals, but make them out of wood, good for the children and more sustainable. With a trading card or something... There is simply an abundance of plastic everywhere. Many children probably already have a nice wooden hutch at home, but the animals are far too small.
Please just think a little better about sustainability, the environment and children's health when doing things like this (animals are sure to end up in the mouths of smaller children from time to time, this cheap plastic is delicious).
The same with the plush bunnies. Every mother I know complains about the pile of stuffed animals that vegetate in their rooms and gather dust... And you always do the same thing with the dust catchers that are interesting for 2 hours and then disappear in a drawer somewhere...

@sarah1111 speaks from my heart about the awful, pointless plastic. As a child, I played with wooden animals, some of which were already used and I was always given new ones. At some point the stable was no longer enough, which is why I built another one with Lego.
Wooden toys such as a farm, a knight's castle or a wooden train are educationally valuable toys that children of several generations can enjoy. My wooden farm with the animals was given to my (first) niece, who enjoyed it for many years and then gave it to my children. Some of the animals are several decades old, but you can hardly tell by looking at them.
@Tanja_Migros, wouldn't it be more sustainable advertising for Migros if the next generation could still play with today's Mania wooden toys?

In my environment, I've noticed that collector's books and figures from previous Manias are always taken out, looked at and used for playing.

Ultimately, however, the decisive factor is that Farm Mania is a pure rip-off - at the expense of the children. Today we bought the farm for 9.80 (!!!): 1. because various parts are missing, the farm cannot be built at all. 2. none of the 7 bags we received for our purchase (the additional bag as a Famigros member was withheld) contained a figure, but only - sorry - dirt with lettuce seeds (7x!!!) ... Which farmer plants lettuce in the fall?
I'm not naive and know how such marketing gimmicks work, but this is definitely going too far!!! In future I'll be shopping at the competition across the road again - at least with their marketing gimmicks you get what they promise.
My 3-year-old screamed louder when, firstly, the farm was incomplete and there wasn't a single animal in all the bags ;-)
