MIGROS is only good at keeping ailing companies going without profit and feeding them until they can't make a profit any more. To be honest, I don't care if Migros makes less profit than Coop - as long as Migros is doing well enough to continue to exist for a long time to come. In fact, I find it more desirable to be socially and culturally involved, as Migros does in many different ways. With "the number one", it doesn't always have to be profit that is the yardstick.
actually, migros should not make any profit with the cooperative idea... what you write means in other words: the margins are much higher at coop and the consumer pays much too much more at coop than he already pays at migros... yes, a cooperative *cough* that operates like an AG - or even worse...
