My favorite Migros (Embrach) recently opened a charging station for e-cars, which of course made me extremely happy as a plug-in hybrid driver. However, when I saw the conditions/prices, my laughter just froze on my face. For members CHF 0.45 per kWh plus 1.50 one-off, for non-members CHF 5 for 7kWh (via SMS), that's 71 Rp per kWh, at low tariff the electricity costs us 8 Rp, high tariff 18 Rp, i.e. at low tariff almost 9 times as much as at home at the socket, with a (high) calculated consumption of 25kWh / 100km that is 18.- for 100km, i.e. around 11l gasoline equivalent, no car needs that much anymore, i.e. the electricity costs x times more here than if you drive a gasoline engine. Why does Migros work with such extremely profit-oriented companies? What kind of people charge their cars there? The super-rich? Unfortunately, there are none here in Embrach :-). Why doesn't Migros do it for free, as a bonus, like Lidl, IKEA, Jumbo and others, or at least cover its costs and not with a dream margin? I don't know.
