Euro price reductions and more.

Euro Preisabschläge und weiteres.

Hello, dear Migros team,
As a customer, I expect one thing:
to bypass the middleman for customers, to be reasonably priced through own brands, to offer customers goods through partners such as Alnatura, Dm and Tegut (part of Migros) that the competition does not carry.

I also tend to be rather critical here, because Migros should also benefit from something. Only praise doesn't get Migros anywhere.
Instead of constantly launching flop products here (although there are certainly some top products), I would be happy if Migros listened to customer feedback.
There is a long debate about whether cottage cheese should really have sugar in it. It would be possible to invite some commentators to Zurich to solve the problem together.
Eisweiss Brot Hell is demanded and still mourned -> Migros launches Eisweiss Brot sliced at a much higher price. Migros refuses and does not want to revive the light-colored protein bread. (of course when it was only available in 3mmm stores)

Alpro soy milk was a tiresome topic. Migros completely missed the point. What does Coop do? It launches Alpro!
Customers demand Skyr. What does Coop do? It launches Skyr.
Customers demand liquid egg white. What does Coop do? It launches liquid egg white.

Migros sticks to its guns. It only carries its own brands in the dairy segment. But Migros is not very innovative. It took far too long to launch such products.

The euro has been at 1:1 for around 1 1/2 weeks....
What is Migros doing? Coop and Lidl have announced price reductions. Coop even 1000 products. Lidl even slashed the price of some products by 25%. Migros gave in because it was worried about its image as price performance leader. Migros announced price reductions F and vegetables.... I have to give Migros points here. I check the prices here from time to time. MIgros is not that bad....
I also saw the media release with the price reductions. Firstly, I trusted Migros and thought "wow, that's something. Today I paid a visit to Migros to compare other prices.... But I was very disappointed. Migros has only knocked off the 10 products it has listed. In the dairy range there are almost no markdowns. I also did a price check at Lidl and Coop and saw how the price of some products had changed.

Migros wants to change the card law, free trade, Cassis de Dijon, Pararell imports. But right now, I don't sense any will on the part of Migros to change anything. No, Coop and Lidl are leading the way here (well, they also have more branded products).

That's why it took me longer to do the interview with Migipedia...
What use is my profile on Migipedia if my opinion is not taken into account in the end?

What Migros would now bring to the fore would be more aggressive price negotiations.
And it will have to negotiate very hard on one issue:
Drugstore items:

A picture from 20 minuten from dm drogeriemarkt on Saturday.
I bet MIgros in Reutlingen will have sold a maximum of 5% of what dm did on Saturday....

And if Migros doesn't react, the borders in Lörrach, Rheinfelden, Waldshut Tiengen and above all in Constance will become even bigger. And the drugstores and supermarkets as well as discount stores would not look like this dm drugstore.

But I have to let out my frustration... as someone who lives close to Germany, this steady increase is frightening...
